Golden dorado fishing is the perfect fishing trip for the "catching" passion. You can expect to catch 15-25 golden dorados per day. The fishing takes place in freshwater on 21 foot skiffs.
These boats are designed for the dorado fishing excursions. The boats have 2 large casting platforms and 100HP outboards. All anglers are welcome, if this is your first time to cast a rod OR if you consider yourself the king of all fishermen, the golden dorado fishing is designed for you.

The golden dorado fishing is an all day adventure in 2 areas of the river. One is call La Zona and the other is referred to as "outside" La Zona. La Zona is a huge fishing area with some of the largest golden dorados on record.
You can expect to catch 15 to 50 lbs. This is fishing! Outside the La Zona area is very active with smaller golden dorado and you will catch release, catch - release , repeat for a good part of the day. The size of the golden dorado in the outer La Zona areas are smaller in size ranging from 2 to 15 lbs.
All the golden dorado are active fish and as the nickname so correctly describes, they are the "tigers" of the Uruguay freshwater. The fish will jump bite down hard on the lures and cause your adrenlin to start flowing. Excitement for the angler that reels one in successfully and the guides are there to help, so do not be afraid to ask for help - these fish like to fight!
